Let’s Go Next Weekend
To encourage residents of Chicago and its northern suburbs — who would otherwise visit Wisconsin — to consider Lake County, Illinois as a destination, our Let’s Go Next Weekend campaign highlighted the county’s many attractions for a quick, impulse summer getaway. The campaign included a Visitors Guide, TV, Radio, print, outdoor and digital components
Year-over-year visitor spending increased 5% to $1.26 billion. The campaign generated half a million unique visitors to the website, with over 1.6 million page views — an increase of 33%. The total campaign delivered 24.6 million target impressions.
The campaign won 2017 Gold in the National Adrian Awards for hospitality marketing.
